Border patrol vigilantes
Want to join a vigilante gang on the Arizona border, help clean up the west for our wives and daughters? Check out the Minuteman Project, "http://minutemanproject.com".

The organizer says it will only cost one or two thousand dollars for you to go camp out on the border for a month. You can assist the US Border Patrol in apprehending illegal aliens trying to cross the desert into Arizona.

It might be fun to join the mob. I'd like to pass out Gatorade.

Political duplicity
What should it mean to persons of integrity when gainsaying and blatant liars accuse them of lying? It is such an ironic accusation to be confronted with -- anyone with a shred of decency has to be set back pretty hard when faced with such a public accusation.

Anyone following the national news scene over the past couple of weeks knows what I'm referring to.

There was a time recently when I felt like some point of irreconcilable tension had finally been relieved. I think the sense of resolution started to coalesce when Sen Kerry refused to continue in post-election fighting.

Today I see that this situation is not resolved, nor is it soon likely to be. All the extreme liberal political hacks have only been waiting in the wings to renew their spiteful and frenzied diatribes. They will store up venom and bide their time, trying to expell their noxious fumes in public scenes where the stink will be most obnoxious, and where they hope to gain the greatest notoriety.

There is no honor in this political machine. After the inauguration speech, I felt hopeful and buoyed up. Today I just feel depressed again. The liars are winning by the Iago approach.

Why not?
I have more to say to myself than most people. And my thoughts are at least as interesting. Why not?
